Piano Quests were born from a desire to reimagine piano practice for today's learners - blending imagination, storytelling, and cinematic sound with solid musical foundations. They're designed to inspire young players with interactive tools, creative challenges, and immersive music, all while building real technique and musicianship.While Piano Quests feel fresh and modern, they’re grounded in a long tradition of classical piano teaching. I’m proud to belong to a teaching tradition that can be traced directly back to Ludwig van Beethoven, through an unbroken line of master pianists and pedagogues. My teacher, Peter Bithell, studied with Maria Curcio, the renowned pupil of Artur Schnabel, who was himself taught by Theodor Leschetizky - a student of Carl Czerny, Beethoven’s own protégé.This lineage represents the Viennese Classical school of piano playing, known for its emphasis on clarity of expression, structural understanding, and deep musical integrity.
